Pennsylvania lifts all COVID-19 restrictions except mask mandate

As the clock struck midnight in Pennsylvania last night, nearly all COVID-19 restrictions in the state were lifted, returning all businesses, venues, and events to pre-pandemic guidelines.

 

As of June 1st, only the state’s mask mandate remains in place. That mandate is scheduled to end on June 28th, or when the state’s adult population reaches 70% vaccinated, whichever comes first.  

 

Governor Wolf’s latest order means that restaurants, bars, theaters, gyms, venues, and other businesses will all be operating as normal, at full capacity, for the first time since March of 2020. 

 

It’s welcome news for business owners and residents alike, who have faced frequently changing guidelines over the last year.
